By Grace we Stand

It is not enough to walk this life resting in the mercy of the Father that His grace provides through His precious blood. How can we any longer live in the mercy of such a grace without also standing in the strength that also equally lies within that grace. Or did He not say, "My grace is sufficient and My strength is made perfect in your weakness"? He is calling us to a deeper level of intimacy and fellowship not with this world which is passing away, but with the eternal hosts of the heavens and with Himself. He is calling us deeper and deeper into His arms and into His presence. His holy and majestic and glorious presence in which no flesh can stand and yet not be changed. I like many other I would assume have stood too long in the midst of our excuses for our sin and disobedience, while still pondering why the power of the cross is not more readily apparent in our lives. Though it is true that by grace we are saved through faith, it is also true that He requires more. He requires sacrifice. Not the sacrifice of our things, our hopes, our emotions, or will....He requires the sacrifice of us. We are the sacrifice. Our lives were purchased at a costly price of the death of the Only Begotten Son of the Father and therefore our lives no longer belong to us.  We are now clay which must yield our lives into His hand. And why would we not eagerly yield? Did He not say that He "has come to give us life and that more abundantly"? Did He not say that He would do "exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ask or think"? Did He not say that His plans for us were "of good and not evil, to give us a future and a hope". Did He not say, "Call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not of"?
There is victory today. Not just over death, hell, and the grace but there is also victory over sin, our addictions, our weaknesses, and sickness. There is POWER in His blood. There is power and strength in the river of grace that flows from the throne. are no longer subject to the power of this world for we have a great High Counselor and Advocate who stands in the holy place making intersession for us day and night. There is freedom. There is freedom. There is freedom. "Walk therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free"!

"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Today step into His presence and trust in Him to transform you, and change you, and mold you, and birth a new vision inside of you. Today trust His grace to lead you over the mountains, through the giants, and victoriously past the temptations and struggles of this world.
